Effectiveness of self-managed medication abortion between 13 and 24 weeks gestation: a retrospective review of case records from accompaniment groups in Argentina, Chile and Ecuador
The article presents data on the effectiveness of medical abortion after 12 weeks, showing how medical abortion, if performed with appropriate follow-up and access to allied health services if needed, is a valid and safe alternative to clandestine surgical procedures.
