This first edition shares the stories of four abortion activists, all members of Red de Aborción, who have been involved in the abortion movement.
This space recovers part of our cultural activism, a fundamental aspect of our political action, to deploy multiple meanings and ways of feeling associated with the experience of abortion. We make available here the accumulated knowledge that abortion accompaniers and their collectives and networks produce in the embodied experience of our feminist, lesbofeminist and transfeminist abortion activism.
The production of situated knowledge, as a critique of hegemonic epistemology and (medical) science, is fundamental to dispute meanings and enrich perspectives from which to "accompany ourselves to accompany".
